Who parks in the Garage?

New House smaller garage... but definitely measured it out knowing I was eventually going to end up with a Truck. Cut out shelves that were there in order to provide some walking "shuffling" behind the car. I have about 8" clearance for the front and back.

Are these tarps/mats specific for a garage? Looks like they have a little lip to retain water?

My truck fits along with my Impala I use for work. Probably about 4' to spare between the wall/door/space in between vehicles.

BH Crew Cab Short bed fits in our garage. If I can't fit my vehicles in the garage, I don't buy it.

Glad to see some things haven't changed around here. ;)

So you'd rather have someone create a new thread to discuss things that have already been discussed? People always get told to use the search feature to find answers. Then you have people like you who get upset when they actually do that and comment in an existing thread, because they found it using a search and it matched what they were commenting about.

When the decision is made, one test drive will be to my house to ensure it fits.
If a 4x4 will also have to verify it fits height wise.

Can't assume. All the houses here built with cheapest labor. Everything is out of spec.

If I can’t fit my vehicles in my garage, I buy a lift, build a garage addition, or buy a new house. Thankfully, my wife agrees with me. For us, the garage is the most important room in the house.

I wasn't upset, just throwing shade. Its not wrong or right, either way is just fine, the guy did nothing wrong. Calm down my dude.

I do park in mine.. about 8 inches space on rear my 21 Bighorn crewcab. Have to fold mirrors because my Stingray doors are so long next to Ram

I was not going to park in the garage, but I do now. I live in Columbus OH and there is a rash of smash and grab burglaries targeting trucks. My 2025 Tungsten has been broken into twice- once at home and once at an after work bowling event. Nothing taken both times, but windows needed replaced and they damaged some internal trim crawling over the glass shards. I only have 6 inches of clearance, but the front and rear cameras are very helpful. The Gen 5 truck seems longer than my Gen 4 1500.

I do and it $ucks trying to back in!
I have to get her lined up just right or I will hit the side trim on the garage or rub the step rails on the trim. (Don't ask how I know)
Also she does not have power folding mirrors so I have to get her backed ½ way in, get out & fold in the passenger mirror, back in a little more then fold in the driver's mirror. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr 🤬
Oh ya then the carbon monoxide detector starts screaming. Double grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Then I have to run a window fan.
Did I mention there is a lally column that I have to miss.
Did I say grrrrrrrrrrrrr yet?
Ya, I know it's time to move!
