Subwoofer in Harmon Kardon

Most of the time, this type of issue is due to trim rattle. But occasionally there can be a problem with the subwoofer. To check if this is the case, try folding down the rear seat and listening closely to the subwoofer at a low volume. If it still rattles at a very low volume, or makes no output when turned up and playing bass, or makes a rattle sound when the truck is at idle and the radio is off (ANC still active), then the problem could be the subwoofer itself, and you may need a new one under warranty. A few of the early ones could develop a rattle from what I've read, but later ones seem to have resolved this.

It might not be the subwoofer itself. Sometimes when the bass is turned up, panels or plastic trim in the trunk start vibrating and it sounds like the speaker is rattling. I would try playing some bass-heavy music and gently pressing on different panels around the area to see if the noise stops. That can help you find what exactly is causing the vibration.
