I finally picked up a set of OEM 22-inch RAM Limited rims (almost new—see pics). I mounted Falken Wildpeak ATW4s in 285/55R22, and installed them a couple of days ago on my 2022 RAM 1500 Laramie (non–air suspension).

Fitment report:

  • The truck looks amazing with this setup.
  • No suspension mods needed.
  • No leveling kit.
  • No air ride.
  • Just bolt-on and go.

I did get the slightest rub—literally just brushing the plastic fender liner on one side. Not enough to justify trimming anything, and it’s barely noticeable.

So for anyone debating this size: 285/55R22 fits a stock RAM 1500 with basically no rubbing. Zero issues worth worrying about. If you’re thinking about this setup—go for it. The stance and ride are awesomeIMG_8579.pngIMG_8577.jpegIMG_8578.jpegIMG_8567.jpegIMG_8565.jpeg

Welcome to the forum ! Tires look amazing good looking truck.

only the slight rub even over heavy bumps or full lock reverse? if thats the case it makes me wanna go up to 275 65 20 right now i have the stock 275 55 20.

Very nice truck I was thinking about ordering 295/55/22 Toyo open country wondering if they would fit with stock air ride?

maybe on the highest air suspension setting . My truck in the picture doesn't have lift. Recently , I lifted front2.2" and back 1" bilstien setup.. 51000 series .

Next set of tires I get I'll go with 295/50/22.. toyo
Has nice set . Gives the truck a wider and squarer look from back if it makes sense

I have those exact tires. I put a Rough Country lift bracket on but lost OR1 and OR2 so I bought the Revel Advanced lift with a new UCA. I just received all the parts but don't have it installed yet.
This pic is with the Rough Country installed and sitting in normal mode.

Why did you lose the off-road heights? I use those all the time when working on my truck so would hate to lose those.

Does the Revel advanced lift with UCA solve that? Or you do that to simply lift the truck permanently now? Assume you lose the air height settings with that too.

Because the Rough Country bracket is different from stock, it changes how the air ride works. I drive it in aero mode now instead of normal because I think the air ride shock is too maxed out and it makes a noise up front on hard bumps like railroad tracks.
The Revel kit uses the stock bracket but puts the pucks on top of the air ride shock to help with the lift. It advertises that you maintain all lift heights. I assume it will get rid of the noise over the bumps since the air ride isn't maxed out so much anymore.
I plan to install the kit in the next couple weeks and will update once I do.

Nice,

Now the truck looks like a truck!

Oh they have the new bracket like revel does but they just give you adjustable level sensors to change the airbags. Now I see what you mean. I’ve heard bad things about the pucks to level the trucks. Is that just a marketing ploy or are there reliable puck leveling kits? New to trucks but not new to changing air suspension although I’m used to lowering not lifting lol.

I don't see how the pucks would hurt anything unless you are doing some hardcore off-roading. I live in southern Georgia so there is no hardcore off-roading here. It's mostly flat and if I travel somewhere where I can off-road, it won't be anything too crazy.

Spacers are only good with air suspension so you don't have to keep the bag aired up for a crappy ride. Spacers on regular suspension are garbage.

Ok so it’s not a quality thing it’s just a physics thing?

I’d like to do a level kit. Was either going to lower the rear with links or raise the front with spacers. Who makes a solid spacer? I don’t off-road so I’m not terribly concerned about heavy duty but want something solid.

I subscribe to the pay once cry once plan in life.

Look at the Revel Advanced kit. It's the pricier option they offer tho.
