To their credit, they are supposed to be shipping me out an AH module today along with a return label. Although I don’t understand how there are not controls in place to prevent a recalled part from being shipped in the first place. Regardless, I appreciate them making it right without any hassle.They shouldn't be selling that old stock,idiots.
That is usually what happens. Because they cannot legally sell a vehicle under recall.And I suppose they will prioritize the unsellable trucks sitting on dealer lots before the ones that have already been sold.
Follow-up, took the truck in this morning and they completed the recall and a software update. Don't really notice any issues with the software update or the recall work. Initially stated 4 hours but downloading the software delayed the stay by another four hours. I'm just hoping the software update doesn't lead to other issues.You’ve got a good dealer!!
