Eibach pro truck stage 2 R

Question - have 24 Laramie. 22's on it. stock suspension.

IF I bought the REBEL kit from Eibach, I'd be effectively gaining a 1" lift front/rear and ability to level it - am I right in that thinking? And that would be only difference - ride quality between Laramie compatible kit or rebel kit should be same?
As far as I'm aware the kits are the exact same. The reason they have them split is because the Rebels have the off road group with 1" higher from factory. Part numbers are the same on "both" kits, but they list different lift heights.

For anyone who've seen my previous suspension posts...

I've been running Eibach Stage1 (with 1" ORP Front springs) for two years..first, Clip#1(0") for 1" lift, then Clip#2(0.6") for 1.625" (Level Lifted), then Clip#3(1.2") for 2.25" Front Lift (and rear coils spaced with 1"LR/0.5"RR..to L-R Level) and ~0.75" Rear Lift.

My Fender Flare Edge height (with 285/60R20 ~33.25") gave me...
39.75"LF/39.75"RF
39.75"LR/39.75"RR
Perfectly leveled all around!
BUT, a 1" ORP spring does NOT like being preloaded 1.2" to 2.2" lift!! The ride isn't horrible, but it is noticeably bumped, stiff, unbalanced to the rear..especially in winter. The Clip#1 and Clip#2 positions were fine, but Clip#3 definitely degraded the ride quality.

Yesterday I swapped those Front Stage1s for Stage2 COs.
I initially installed them at Factory Set 2.0" Lift..and the front dropped to 39.0" and the rear slightly lifted to 39.875"
I jacked up the truck and spin the collar exactly 6 turns (each turn is 1/8") to gain 0.75" height Lift.
This put me at the absolute CO adjustment limit of 5.75"/146mm measurement front the top of the bottom strut mount to the bottom of the spring adjustment collar, which leaves only ONE full thread left at the top of the CO threads!

My Fender Flare Edge height (with 285/60R20s ~33.25") gives me...
39.81"LF/39.81"RF
39.75"LR/39.75"RR
The front is now 1/16" higher than the rear which pushes my center of mass back slightly and let's the truck pivot and ride slightly balanced to the rear end..on my particularly heavy Ram, this gives the best, smooth, "Caddy" ride possible.

I know height wise it seems like I didn't really gain anything in the swap, but that slight extra Lift is huge for my balance..and the Eibach 500lb/in spring behaves so much better than the OEM 492lb/in spring that is totally over-preloaded to get that Lift. Supposedly Eibach designed the CO & Spring combo to be somewhat uniform for ride, handling, comfort, etc throughout it's lowest to highest height adjustments..I can tell the cornering is back to flat, the steering is back to tight, and the comfort is at least back the Clip#2 comfort, so more comfortable in every way.

Just thought I'd share my experience and info with you all. Here's a Pic of the CO..and old pick of truck since height is the same (will get new pics soon)...⤵️

Very jealous and impatiently awaiting the Stage 2 kits to come back in stock. Wish I had bought in December when they were $500 cheaper. Got an email yesterday from Eibach saying they were back in stock, but no dice on the site.

Yep, glad I bought my Stage2 COs last fall..$724 shipped, they're now up from $908 to $995.

I'm still waiting for Eibach to get back to the company I got my kit from, as I'm still needing my rear shocks and rear coil springs. Only the fronts are on, along with all the additional suspension parts I had installed. So far the ride is wayyy better that original, but hoping the rear shocks and springs help out a lot with the ride.

Hope they come soon for you, but nice to have the fronts started at least.
I'd also suggest, maybe air down the rear tires about 3-5lbs less than front..rides better with less air in the rears since rear end is lighter than the front.👍

I got the same email, but you’re right, the site says not available until March of this year. Even if I follow the link in the email it still gives me the same answer

Quick follow-up...

Yesterday, Wifey-pooh & I drove our 50 mile round trip route to a Park/Club that we belong to for a Winterfest Party..we drive this 2-4 times a week in the summer.
It's a mix of up & down some big hills (kettles & kames), some super smooth & quite rough roads, and quite a bit of twists & turns.
OMG, I'm SO happy! The new Eibach Stage2 COs are SO amazing! Even maxed out on lift at 5.75"/146mm thread (at the last top thread)..the truck is back to riding, cornering, and handling like a dream once again (just a bit better than my Stage1s at only 1.6" lift were). The height is only ~1/16"+ higher than the latest Stage1 setup was (at 2.2" lift), but the ride is perfect! That ~1/16"+ higher front than back pivots my suspension to the back end a bit which improves the ride greatly. I can feel the center of mass is right under my butt now instead of under the pedals..how it was at the 1.6" setup..and I love this balance point. I'm now at about 2.25" lift in Front and about 0.75" lift in Rear..with new tires, that's about 2.8" F and 1.3" R from factory delivered.

The Stage1s preloaded to ~2.2" were very unhappy compared to the Stage2s preloaded to ~2.25"+ which seem as happy as can be!

My alignment seems to actually be as good as could be, but the steering wheel is just a hair left of center so I have an appointment for 10 days from now (just in case I need some time to tweak the front COs).

I think this is gonna be the FINAL suspension setup for me now (Eibach Stage2, Eibach Rear Swaybar-full tight, PTG Rear Endlinks, F Swaybar Poly Bushings, modded Rear OEM coils with Airlift bags-5psi and spacers-1"LR/0.5"RR, Thuren F-UCAs, R-U/L-CAs, R-Trackbar)..I may swap in a pair of Mevotech TTX heavy duty F Swaybar Endlinks that I have at some point..and I am thinking of swapping my 285/60R20 Ascents for 285/65R20 Ascents also, but we'll see. I may troll Eibach for a fourth time about swapping my Rear Stage2 shocks for Stage2Rs, but they keep saying those would not be as smooth for my setup now for some reason. *Sidenote, as of last week, NO estimate of if/when the Stage3R setup for Ram 1500 may happen*

Now if Diablosport would come out with a Tuner for Paddle Shifter Hemis, I could move on the Stainless Works LT Headers and 3" True Dual exhaust..Just in time to trade in for a 2027 TRX!! 🤣🤣🤣

Seriously though, can't say enough about these Eibach Stage2 COs or the Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascents!

OOPS, that was anything but a quick follow-up (but you all know my posts..I've done worse!!)😉

Glad you finally got the ride where you want it. Regarding the Diablo, are you talking Pulsar type, or just anything? After the pulsar did not work on my GT, I did get an i3 which has worked great.

Yes, thank you, I'm super happy having the suspension dialed back in once again!
Well crap, I just checked Diablosport the other day to see if any changes.
I was looking at the Pulsar for ease and price, and just a slight tweak. Pulsar says No Paddle Shifters. I was sure I checked PCM/Tuner a few times and that it was the same, NO Paddle Shifters(?).
I've done a few Unlocked PCMs w/ Trinity in the past (most recently thought HHP High Horse Performance in Indiana..they will do Datalog Email Tunes).
So your Bio says '22 Laramie G/T and Unlocked PCM w/ 93octane Diablotune using an i3 controller, correct? (I would use an i3 this time also..don't need the Trinity really)
Did the tune make a noticeable change in power? Are you satisfied with what you got for the investment..not cheap, hey?!
I assume you do not have a TCM Tune, only a PCM Tune? I'm thinking a PCM Tune has no direct affect on the TCM, so maybe that's why it works. DS probably doesn't have enough demand to do the research & programming for a TCM Tune(?).
On my Challenger, I had a Diablosport Unlocked PCM w/Trinity..with 93Diablotune & TCM Tune (the TCM isn't actually tweaked much though for SRT392s), then after adding Kooks LTs, I got a Datalog Tune from HHP for the headers (w/ & w/o cats).
Do the Paddle shifters, Shifter patterns, Tow/Haul work correctly still? I exclusively use Tow/Haul, and use my Paddle Shifters a lot.
If I could get an Unlocked PCM & i3 Tuner, then HHP could definitely do a Datalog Email 93Diablo Header Tune for me!
Oh man! I'm working on a deal right now to sell my 285/60R20s and step up to 285/65R20s which will cost me. Plus, SW LTs & full 3" exhaust would be very pricey..I could do stages and keep my Mopar/Borla w/ SW LTs first, then swap SW Exhaust later. Plus, DS UL-PCM & i3..and then HHP Custom Email Tune..THEN, seriously broken, screaming wallet😱
Guess I'm putting a call into HHP today! Start with the DS pieces first (which will add enjoyment to my current setup now matter what) and get info about doing a Datalog Tune down the road after LTs/Exhaust change.
Does anyone think my wife will buy my logic that LTs/Exhaust/DS PCM & Tuner are necessary to avoid the dreaded "Ram Hemi Cracked Exhaust Manifolds/Bolts Curse" that is common?! Possibly if we're sitting on a beach will lots of booze?!🤔
Thanks for setting me straight on Tunes for G/Ts! TIA for any further advice!

**Update: HHP...⤵️
$250 Unlock PCM
$475 i3 Controller
$798 Stage2 Custom Datalog Tune (headers, cats, catbacks, cai, thermostat, fans, etc)
Looks like all VVT 5.7 Hemi Etorque, no exclusion of G/T/Paddle Shifters..does have TCM Tuneup also**

Really appreciate you going through all these trials and tribulations, and then taking the time to articulate your impressions!

Hugely valuable for prospective buyers, suspension newbies and junkies alike. Usually all you can find regarding some setup or another is “I like it” or “I hate it”, and you almost never get multiple setups evaluated on the same vehicle by the same person.

Some might think that driving dynamics on a full size truck is bottom of the priority list, but in an EV world that has commoditized quickness, a well damped suspension should be the new top pride of the enthusiast (IMHO), and with as versatile and comfortable as a half ton truck is these days, I don’t see why that shouldn’t apply to them too.

After all, you get to enjoy a sorted suspension every second of every drive, whereas immense power might be tapped only on the occasional on ramp.

Bravo, and thank you for your contributions!

Hey thanks..that really does mean a lot to me! I do it because I love it, and helping others is a bonus!🤗
THANKS!!

HHP’s quote to you doesn’t sound bad, I bought the unlocked PCM from DS because I wanted my stock as a backup. While I did not order a tcm tune, I can tell you shifting is different and improved over stock. Having said that, I almost never let the auto do all the work. I just enjoy the feel and response of my own shifts, either via paddles or shifter. Because of that I don’t use tow/haul, I honestly forgot it was there until you mentioned it.

We're almost on the same page!
My Challenger was almost 100% Paddle Shifted.
The Ram is Paddle Shifted a lot when I'm alone, but mostly T/H when Wifey-pooh is along..I'm too annoying to her otherwise..I still do it when she's not paying much attention though🤣

Swapping up to 285/65R20 Dueler AT Ascents on Thursday, so there goes a chunk, but Tune & LTs are next on the hit list after that👍

I find that when my wife is in the truck I generally use the hand shifter. Before I bought the Challenger she didn’t mind the paddle shifters, but she almost always comments now that the truck’s paddles are louder than the Challenger’s
