Hello Everyone!

Just thought I would introduce my new to me truck. As the title states it is a 2023 Rebel in Hydro Blue Pearl. It has the Hemi engine with E torque. I picked it up 2 weeks ago. It does already have 50,000 miles, but I was able to get a good deal on it. Crazy to think just 3 years ago this was a $75,000 truck and I got it for about half of that. It seems pretty fully loaded, it has the level 2 equipment group, 3.92 gears with rear locker and 33 gallon gas tank which I love! She does have a couple of minor dings and dents from the previous owner but nothing I couldn't live with. Most of them in the bed, so I am guessing he used it as truck, I can't fault him for that.

Only things I have done so far is put on Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires with matching spare and changed the chrome lug nuts to some black ones. I also have a Snugtop super sport canopy on order. I sort of like the truck without the canopy but man are they handy, especially here in the rainy northwest. I also changed the engine oil, front and rear dif oil, and transfer case fluid just for piece of mind. I am still getting used to the huge touch screen and all the features it has but it's been fun. I love the way this thing drives, very smooth on the highway and surprisingly quiet inside.

I am coming from a midsize Nissan Frontier which was super reliable, but was getting a little bit too small. It was a good size for trails, but the small interior was getting hard for all of our stuff, and our 120 pound dog. Me and my girlfriend like to do the overland thing and do light off roading, mostly forest service type roads here in the Pacific Northwest where we live. This is my first full size truck and I am sure I will have more questions than answers, but glad to help anywhere I can. I am pretty decent at turning a wrench and doing my own maintenance within reason. This thing is a night and day difference over the frontier!

Anyways I am not sure what else to say right now but it's nice to meet everyone!

Here are a few pictures of it after I washed it for the first time.18893.jpg18890.jpg18888.jpg

NICE LOOKING TRUCK! ANY FUTURE MODS U PLAN ON DOING? FULL BUILD OUT IN THE BED FOR OVERLANDING?

WHAT KIND OF DOG DO YOU HAVE, 120LBS !!!!

Thanks! the main thing right now for overlanding is the canopy I have on order and then I need to figure out a way to mount my wavian jerry cans to the bed rail. I have these custom made holders for the jerry cans that mounted to my old Nissan's utilitrack system, but unfortunately the mounting holes are too short for the Ram bed rail. I'd also like to mount my traction boards somewhere.

My dog is a German shepard/shorthair pointer mix. He must of had big parents for sure haha. We got him when he was 1 from a shelter. He is about 7 now :)
