Since the last recall, which was the one about icons not showing up on the gauge cluster. The fix for this seems to have been to reset the dash every time you start the vehicle. This was a hastily thought out fix as it has the side effect of reseeding the random number generator that is used to shuffle the music on a USB stick. So, I get the same song group played every time I start the truck. I'm guessing they seeded the random number with something fixed, and didn't use the GPS clock or something that would give a new starting random number. Disappointing software development...
Anyone else notice this?

I get this on my truck about every 8 starts it is very frustrating. the restart of the songs that is.

so I keep a list of all songs on the thumb drive and make a mark when I shut off truck, then I know where to go when it resets.

I just picked up a 2026 Tungsten and my USB stick with my music is unreadable on the truck. What format did you use for your stick? fat32?, exfat? My music files are all FLAC. I was/am looking forward to hearing the Klipsch System play the FLAC files. Thanks for any help.

LOL and I thought I was the only one who did this :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I actually have a little note pad in the center console and I write what number song I left off at when I park the truck for the night. It's very frustrating to have it start back up again the next morning at song #1 and I have to scroll down to whatever song number I marked down the night before.

It looks like Uconnect doesn't support FLAC. This link shows the supported formats and devices :

Thanks for the link. I have now tested all the USB formats and Music formats and the big issue for me on my 2026 1500 Tungsten is that they only support FAT32 format for the disk/USB. It can be as big or as little as you need but my testing on my Truck ended with a 256GB USB formatted FAT32 with 88gb of Music. Format for the Music was FLAC and that worked fine. Posting the result so others may know that FAT32 is the needed format for the USB drive.
