I always wanted to easily get into the bed of the truck. Any suggestions on which folding back step to buy? Is the OEM one or any others better? Price is not an issue.

We have 26 BH 5'7" bed and this is my second BakFlip cover, which we're very happy with. When selecting a cover, things that can be an issue is the forward curved portion of the truck bed, at the rear of the cab, and creating the best coverage to prevent any direct water from entering during a car wash, heavy rain, etc. Installation is a breeze and very versatile with access to the entire bed.

My '25 came with one, so I'm not completely sure if this helps. These '25 and '26 model years do have slight differences and especially from '24 back. Anything aftermarket would have some risks involving fitment. After all I've read and recall, I'd recommend OEM. The model year redesign caused some confusion on some accessories. Vendors are still catching up on the newer year models.

I'm not trying to be snarky but they want a folding rear bed step, not a bed cover...

I put the OEM on mine shortly after I bought it back in 2019. Never had an issue with it. Installation is easy enough. Back then there were a couple of different part numbers concerning clearances with the exhaust pipe. On mine if I back up with it still down the backup sensors will have an absolute snit fit. If you drive forward with it still down you look exactly like you forgot to put it back up.
