Sure, but it sounds like the issues with your truck are not just about air suspension. I don't expect many members to post about issues with air suspension on 5th gens. I've only seen a hand full of people post about having problems with it. Hopefully others will chime in with their opinions and experiences with it. Good luck with your decision.![]()
I have 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 which had air suspension. It failed in 2022 with about 110,000 miles on the truck. When it failed there is literally no suspension at all and is not safe to drive as told by the mechanic. I was told it would be very expensive to replace the air suspension, so I went with the standard suspension which was also expensive.Hi everyone,
I have a question for all members who have a 1500 with factory air suspension:
Who all have had issues or failures?
I own a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn with factory air suspension. I currently have no issues with the air suspension, but am trying to get an idea of system longevity. My truck is a 2019 with only 10,300 miles on it.
Since my truck has been a problem child since day one and the bumper to bumper Mopar extended warranty will end in 2026, I am thinking of trading the truck before an expensive air suspension issue happens that I get stuck paying the bill for.
Thanks in advance to all who respond!
