“115v Cargo Power Outlet On” Error Message stays on.

Tail light assembly was completed and the dealer did a "software update". No longer have the issue

I really appreacite the responses, I already had a rear drivers light taillight I ordered from earlier in fall 23', and had this had the error "115v power outlet on" I swapped the taillights in 10 minutes and it took care go the issue. The seals on these tailights must not be sealed well I had 3/4 of a cup of water in the lower light section, but its solvable.

This is definitely water in the tail light. Just fixed mine with all the same issues. Emptied water out of cracked tail light and issues gone.

I had the same issue and the following symptoms:

Initial Slight Warnings:
Random warnings in dash about Driver Side Tail Light being out, despite it working.

Major Issues later on after Carwash:
Random Warnings about 110v Outlet in use or unavailable
Running boards not working
Power Mirrors not folding
Front Window Switches or Windows Not Working
Entire Entertainment Console Suddenly Not working including all of the climate controls embedded in it, which included Heat on full blast in front defroster or not on at all
Random warnings about parking sensors or autostop systems not being available

I initially unhooked negative terminal on battery for 30 min to reset everything and it helped! I drove to Chicago 8 hours without issue. Then it randomly returned and another battery negative terminal removal didn't work this time. The error stayed on for the 8 hr drive back!

The dealer charged a $220 diagnostic fee, and started isolating the components that were offline (one of which being the lidar sensor in the drive side tail light) one by one. As soon as the tail light was unplugged - everything else in the system came back online.

There was quite a bit of water in the tail light and the connector was corroded.
