I got my 2023 display unit crashing most times largely when I connect my iPhone in CarPlay.
It’s totally annoying when you want to get going soon. I even updated the latest software in both truck and phone. Also disabled widgets in settings of CarPlay. My dealer checked for wiring issues also. So not sure what’s going and any help is appreciated.

So you’re using iOS 26.2 and checked to see your Uconnect is up to date here? Uconnect® Software Update Center: For Stellantis Vehicles

Then couple of suggestions:

iPhone:
Go to CarPlay - Uconnect - Apps - reset.
General - transfer or reset iPhone - reset - reset network settings.
Forget Uconnect and remove all connections from Bluetooth and CarPlay options.

Uconnect:
Forget your phone and remove all connections.
Soft reset by holding power and tuner button for 10-15 seconds. Let go of buttons when you see Ram logo.
Hard reset by doing a system reset. It’s in the Uconnect screen under system (I think). You’ll find it. You’ll also have to re-set up the options and settings to your liking.
Disable WiFi software update option
Uncheck the use with two phones option

Pair your phone with Uconnect and see if it works.
