Hello, I'm new to the forum, and I'd like to get some advice... I have a 2025 Big Horn 3.6 V6 eTorque with Night Edition Package. I bought this truck at the end of August 2025, and in November, with only 4700 miles, I had the "Low Battery" warning light come on while driving to work (11.5V). I was able to get the truck started at the end of the day to drive back home, and the light came on again, but this time with the CEL. I connected a battery charger at home, and the battery charged to 100% in less than 3 hours, which indicated a good battery. The next day, I took it to the dealer that is located less than one mile away from my house. They received it, and an hour later, they said it was a bad MGU. The part was available in a nearby dealer, and they had my car ready the next day. I picked it up at the end of the day, but the transmission exhibited hesitation. Since the dealer was closed, I had to leave the truck at home. Very early next day, while driving the truck to the dealer and approaching an intersection, the shift knob lights flashed, beeped, and the truck shifted from Drive to Park while engaging the emergency brake. Thank God this was at a speed of probably 5 - 10 mph! I was able to restart it and take it to the shop. They said it was throwing a code for MGU again, so they proceeded to install another MGU. After that, all I heard was that the hesitation continued and that they were waiting for engineer feedback from Stellantis. After the truck had been in the shop for 2 weeks, I received a survey from RAM; which I gave a horrid score to this dealership. The service manager called me the next day and said that the truck software was corrupted after the installation of the MGU. Also, that they had their hands tied until Stellantis comes up with a new software update to be able to reprogram my truck, when I mentioned that I was looking forward to applying for Lemon Law, he said, "Stellantis will come up with the solution, and we will fix it. Don't waste your money on lawyers." However, he said that there is no ETA for this "solution". As an engineer (not automotive, though), I think they did not follow the MGU replacement procedure correctly, or encountered a problem, and they bricked the HCP and the ECU. The expected "new software/update" to me is nothing less than a jailbreaking procedure. I'm sorry for such a long post, but I'd like to know if anyone has experienced this and what resolution was achieved. OR if I need to proceed with Lemon Law. Thank you in advance!
