Key Fob not working

Hi I recently purchased a new key fob from amazon with tailgate release and remote start , so I got the locksmith to program to vehicle which he did no problems , rear tailgate unlock no problem but couldnt get the vehicle to remote start.
moving forward a day later the key fob open doors started vehicle etc , 3 hours later key fob lock and unlock vehicle no red light on the control or anything so need push start stop bottom woth key itself to start , then when i got home parked vehicle later on that night key started working again red light when pressing the button was etc etc , then the next morning nothing again .


any one have this issue before

Hit and miss with those aftermarket remotes. Check the battery tray in the remote, could be a contact plate in it.

Might need a reset. Hold both lock and unlock buttons for 10 seconds.
