Window wiper operation

On every vehicle I've had the water came first then the wipe.
On my 2025 Ram Limited H/O the wiper activates first (on dry window) then water.
Is this correct?

Didn't you already post this? My 2020 sprays then wipes.

Not for my truck, I can press it lightly so it sprays without the wipe, so I can get the windshield really wet before the first wipe.

But never had it wipe without spraying the screen first. First make sure the fluid tank is full, see if it keeps doing that.

Fluid is and has been full.
I'll try the light touch.
