I will be looking at a 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie tomorrow, Currently drive a 17 Laramie. What should I know and look for? Hearing some issues with electrical systems? Thoughts appreciated!

There are countless threads about the 2025 MY. on this site.
I have owned a 2025 for 15 months.
Had a 2019 Laramie with Hemi for 5 1/2 years.
Zero mechanical issues with 2025. Love the 3.0 engine (SST) -- will not ever go back to the Hemi!
I have had Countless Software issues in my 2025 issues due to the new electrical architecture from Fiat.

134 pages so far!!! Take many of them with a grain of salt.

Get a great deal on the 2025!

BTW - not to scare you, all of my issues where/are UConnect nonsense. Not impacting the mechanical functionality

For me, I’ve had enough issues that I would not recommend. My problems include trailer lights, was going to pull a flat bed with brakes, but lights wouldn’t work, yet we connected another truck and worked just fine. Transmission shifting issues, alignment, the steering wheel is turned to the right to go straight, dash lights stuck on daytime bright when headlights are on at night and dead batteries among other issues.

If you decide to get it, I hope it’s a good one without the issues others are having.

I actually have not had any mechanical or software issues with my 2025.. I have had it for 18 months and over 16,000 miles. The only negative are a couple paint blemishes and the panel alignment is poor around the hood and fenders. Probably could be adjusted some but I have not messed with it.

Great to see someone not having any issues, the way it should be. My experience has been terrible, yesterday my truck was towed back to the dealer for the second time in the last 6 weeks. Hopefully yours will continue to give you plenty years free of issues.

if you get a 2025 and not a 2026 for sure pay to upgrade the warrantee to 10 year 100k.

I've had no issues from my 25, trans shifts fine. I've had the illumination error a few times but hit the OK button and all is good.
No electrical issues other than buggy UC5 which seems to be the case for all UC5.

Keep in mind that the forums are mostly going to be full of people with issues looking for help. People having no issues aren't on the forums.

I've not seen anyone having an issue with the engine itself

5 months on RebelX, one issue, bad trailer brake module. No biggy, just annoying need service warning at startup. Love the truck.

One thing I've learned with this truck and previous 21 RAM, best to keep them on a trickle charger if infrequent driver. Marginal battery condition seems to play havoc with these trucks.
