So my left turn signal fuse has been blowing regularly whenever I hook up a trailer. Three different trailers so I it isn't the trailer. But it isn't right away either. Could be 5 miles down the road, 3rd or 4th hook up. Has anyone else had this issue? Would putting in the next size fuze cause any issues?

There must be a short in your wiring someplace. And absolutely do not put in a bigger fuse unless you want bigger problems.

thank you for the feedback. I was afraid that was the case. Just what I wanted to do, spend hours and hours looking for a short.

I put this together for tracking down parasitic current draw with a DC clamp-on current meter.
You could use something similar, just swap the fuse holder for a lamp socket and stick a 1156 bulb in it.
Make the leads long enough so it can bee seen from outside of the truck.
Plug the blades into the trailer turn-signal fuse location and start yanking on the harnesses, if the bulb lights up, the you are in the general location
of the short.
The bulb draws around 2 1/4 amps so you are not going to hurt anything.
