seen too many customers' "tuned" vehicles resulting in engine problems long term. that's a no for me.
when my customers ask me about "tuning" their trucks I tell them to get a sports car if they want to go fast: lower center of gravity, better braking, better handling. Or, get a TRX.
the only time when a truck driver needs to go fast is when in the desert, but even then that's more suspension than engine - then i invite them out to a day of desert play to prove my point.

I've had a tune on both my 2012 Ram and now my 2019 Rebel and have not had any issues with the engine. The tunes actually smoothed out the engine and the power was noticeable, as was the overall driveability. You go with any reputable tuner and they're not going to put you at risk.

What type of numbers are you seeing in the tourqe and horsepower after the tune? I’m thinking of getting a tune also once my warranty is up.
