Do not update

Mine is still screwing up. At different times, different things go screwy. It completely froze up, on a trip, of course, in an unfamiliar area, where I needed to change roads. I have reboooted multiple times, where it jumps around, and never stops. Even when it does reboot normal, about half the times, the steering wheel controls don't work right. The center button, to change stations, will quit working, and when it happens, sometimes the rocker switches work, and sometimes they don't.

damn i think at this point back to the dealer it goes.

FYI, right after this update completed for me we were on a long drive at speed, started getting engine codes and SoS not available, etc. reset the UC and same thing. Next day my battery was dead, jumped it and dropped at the dealer. Warranty replaced the battery, and they supposedly debugged a loose ground.

Several weeks later first thing in the morning and battery dead again, jump and drop it off, they debug to a grms radio that is charging off my USB. That has been there on this truck, and the launch Gladiator it replaced and never had an issue.

I believe there is something different on this update and the USB ports staying active longer than the expected ~1hr. It may also be associated with hard reset of the UC5 and/or TazerDT interaction with this update. TazerDT been installed with the latest FW for couple of years, and regularly do a hard reset every couple of months.

Did the update about 3 days ago,and system just seems to be alot slower now.

I’m having the same issue — the Off-Road Pages won’t open. I’d like to ask how you managed to fix this problem.
I just waited a day or two for the system to sort itself out, and it did sort itself out. Do nothing, do not reset the head unit, do not disconnect the battery. Just be patient.

This is also common problem in Dodge Chargers and Challengers with Performance Pages (equivalent of Off Road Pages). After an update, they do not work for a while. Nature of the beast and the tech.

That said, I consider it unprofessional and I am highly critical that this happens. Can you imagine doing an update of Microsoft Office and it does not work for a day or two? Or updating your website and it takes a day or two to come back on line?

Or updating your elevator software and getting this for a few days
