Tailgate light Bar, any Idea how to make them work on a 2025 Larmie Night Edition without it showing you are pulling a trailer when you're not

My guess is that you tapped into the 7 way trailer plug, and chose the brake feed as your power source. The truck detects a load so it assumes it's a trailer. You need to use the right and left turn signal feeds and run the power through a "turn signal converter" or find a different feed. Like the third brake light.

Putco makes you run a wire through a relay that becomes live when the truck is started, all the way back to the driver for the Light bar. I asked them if they had a harness to connect to my taillight in line. They said Ram will not let them make the plugs for the Ram taillights. I sent it back yesterday to Putco, what a bunch of bullcrappers they are, 800 dollars and they don't know nothing how to make it work.

The wiring on the 2025 Larmie is a horrible system to wire anything up to it.I was told it is a new type of CAN Bus system for this year's truck and has everyone stumped.
