2020 Ram 4wd lowering journey….

Valiant efforts all around gents…. However I succumbed to my desires…. Dang !

Timbergrove 6” CRMs have arrived! Its all starting to come together as the boxes pile up !
Bit of a break, have a bodyshop taking care of a few dents and dings as we speak… Have been so on the fence on rear shocks so I ordered up the ranger Bilsteins as a placeholder until I decide on the Ridetechs or the QA1’s… shipping into Canada from the US is such a crapshoot right now… looking for a supplier of Core up here for an adjustable track bar…. After that I could start installing and get it done…. Could always upgrade shocks and trailing arms later….

Have you contacted CORE4X4 to find a supplier? They usually respond in a couple days.

I have not, but reached out to all the local shops and no one sells them…

ended up buying the Icon Vehicle Dynamics single adjustable track bar… that should tackle all of the ‘necessary’ parts

Slowly but surely continuing to come together…. Just picked up some new Moog front sway bar endlinks… IHC confirmed their control arms still use the stock links…. And sway bar bushing show up tomorrow…

Jeremy at IHC has been awesome to deal with, always quick to respond to emails !

Alright…. First project is going to be the removal of the Airlift 5000’s today…. Ive also booked the truck to get the BD manifolds installed, I am sure I could accomplish them, but age an experience makes me not want to deal with broken bolts! Anyone want to guess how many I will have ?

I think usually 2-3 is the norm, when broken.

Today was clunk removal day, did the front sway bar bushings and end links…. Went Moog on both, and the drivers side bushing was worn bad, the sway bar had a bunch of surface corrosion, cleaned it up good with the wire wheel, the pass side wasnt as bad cleaned it up good as well…. Everything went together relatively smoothly, thinking about moving to the rear to get the Hellwig in

And rear is in, reused the factory bolts on the new brackets… set it up in the middle setting, and hit a couple cloverleafs and can tell the difference, much firmer…. Looking forward to the lowered ride

In the pics, the first pic is the drivers side before I cleaned it up with the wire wheel, followed by some Emory cloth, cleaned up the pass side as well (second pic is before) then some white lithium grease…. And the clunk is gone like Donkey Kong
