Just a bit of information I learned today. Took my 2022 2500 through a car was today. When exiting the wash under the car drying blowers my HVAC vents stopped blowing. Went through a lot of trouble shooting with no results. Come to find out the blowers had forced water into the air intake on my HVAC and soaked my in cab air filter. Guess what a wet filter doesn’t allow?? Air to move through it. Easy 5 min fix after two outs of research and trouble shooting.

I read it on this forum somewhere, turn off the AC or Heat when going through a car wash. That way it doesn't pull water in. I never had a problem with any vehicle through a car wash before, but since reading it I turn off the system with the off button and turn it back on when the green light to put the vehicle in gear comes on at the exit. Just insurance against this happening.

I usually run my A/C through car wash. Especially in summer . My comfort is more important. Never had any issue.
