How to Add high idle

I have heard the famous hemi tick is likely caused by low idle oil pressure. The main fix is to replace oil pump with a "high flow" model. I dont want to tear a good motor apart for that. What's a good way to add rpm to idle?

I also have a Ram warranty I would prefer not to void.

Im open to tuners or plug n play modules

I misstyped water. I mean oil pump. They use a higher flow rate to move more oil at lower rpm. A mechanic on YouTube goes through the whole thing pretty in depth
Apparently he is using a melling now instead of the Mopar hellcat pump

I believe the only way, would be a custom tune and unlocked ECM, which might void warranty. Nothing Plug n play I know of.

1st probelm is believeing the youtube BS about idling and oil pressure.
My 2020 limited has 97K miles on it and not a peep. Change the oil every 6000 miles and leave it alone. My previous hemi had 277K miles and no lifter noises, again, regular oil changes

Agree with the first statement.

But my truck ate TWO cam lobes with 5k synthetic oil changes and an overall very easy life. New engine at 113k miles. Theres guys that have had failures at 80k. Seems to be luck of the draw.

GM had similar issues, it was traced back to improper camshaft hardening. I suspect the HEMI is a similar issue.

I do wonder.. only difference here is this seems to be widespread over damn near a decade.

I appreciate this sentiment, I have always been on the side of prevention. Its so wild that you guys run 6k between oil changes. I have been driving an ecoboost for 6 years before this Ram; if you run 6k between oil changes on the ecoboost your oil would be straight sludge. I have become accustomed to 3k between

So was GM, pretty much any LS. My car never had an issue but I know others who did

Those turbos really seem to stress the oil. My wife's little bronco sport eco boost looks nasty after 5k.

I ran Rotella T6 5w40 in my 3.5 EB.
Changed at 5k miles and it looked fine.
