Ram tune (LIVERNOIS or Diablo) - any experience?

I took a few mins today and put the diablo tune (and trans tune) on and drove it around a bit. It felt a bit sluggish compared to the hemifever tune, but way batter than stock. I then put the hemifever tune back on and it felt a lot more lively. If you invest in the diablo, it's probably worth it (IMHO) to invest in the HF tune too. FWIW, my wife drove quite a bit with the diablo tune and never noticed much. With the HF tune on she just came back home a bit angry because she kept chirping the tires.
There really is no comparison between a canned one size fits most tune, and a custom tune for your truck. Diablos canned tunes are very "safe" with timing and fuel. A custom tune with data logging will always provide better results

Yeah, mine has no problem breaking the tires loose, my wife thinks I do it on purpose. Ok, maybe a little on purpose 😉

no issues at all but if i run in "performance" on the pulsar then i turn down the banks a little or not. it's like it was back in the days of 400hp with a well tuned carburetor.
i can tell you if i turn it all off i don't know how i lived with out them.
stock to me has no throttle response and is kind of sluggish.
the monster is great because you can turn it down in snow or rain or if the wife want's to use the truck....
Appreciate it I have the pulsar now just was wondering if there was gonna be any interference with the pedal monster and tuner

It took a while but finally got the tune installed and tested. I ordered the Diablo tuner through Hemifever (Sean is great to work with!) and selected the PCM swap. The tuner itself came in very quickly, but there wasn't much I could do with it until I had the unlocked PCM. The PCM took almost 2 weeks to arrive.

I received the PCM just minutes before leaving on a cross country roadtrip. So I did a quick swap (very easy process) and installed the canned Diablo tune and headed out from Illinois to Florida. Immediately the truck felt more alive, albeit with mainly highway driving. Once I arrived in Florida I had received the Hemifever tune which I installed in place of the canned Diable tune (I did both normal tune plus Trans tune). Immediately I did not notice a huge difference other than it pulling off the line a bit quicker. I kept the HF tune on while in Florida and drive back with it. As part of the process you do some logging and send to HF to review, so once I got back I sent the logs to Sean who reviewed them within the hour and confirmed everything looked good. I asked for a minor change which he provided me in a v2 tune.

Just for fun, I went back to the stock tune and drove around the neighborhood a bit, yuck. The truck felt so sluggish. V2 is on now and I'm enjoying it!

If anyone has any questions please let me know. I had trouble finding a ton of details so happy to help others.
Did you feel a big difference between the diablo canned tune and the V2 HF?
I'm getting my diablo this Friday, very excited!

My bad, kept reading and I saw you reply to this already.
Hopefully I see better results with my butt dyno.
Thanks for sharing
