No, it won't work right now. The issue is the new canbus in the 2025+. There have been lengthy discussions on this on here. And one member is working with the AlfaOBD developer on making it work. Much easier on the 2019 to 2024.I just read the instruction of adding the passive entry feature. Was wondering if this instruction work for a 2025 ram 1500?
Has anyone done it on a 2025 truck?
Do you have links for the other conversations. I wasn’t able to find them and want to read them. Defiantly need this modificationNo, it won't work right now. The issue is the new canbus in the 2025+. Has anybody heard of someone trying Vais Technology's SEER device installation. It would require carrying a second FOB attached to the regular RAM FOB, but it locks on walk away which is pretty cool and unlocks when you get close. Aside from the second FOB, the only "easy" way to install it would be with their CAN bus interface, which I'm guessing doesn't exist given the 2025 RAM uses a new one whom I heard rumors was designed by Alfa Romeo/Fiat. If the 2026 RAM 1500 with the Hemi option goes back to the 2024 Can bus, we'll likely be left out in the cold. Although I would think that unlikely--easier to adapt the engine to the CAN bus than change the whole thing back. No, it won't work right now. The issue is the new canbus in the 2025+. They won't be changing it back. This new architecture was designed to support self driving. No way they will go backwards. And this architecture was already implemented by other FCA vehicles like the Jeep.Has anybody heard of someone trying Vais Technology's SEER device installation.
