I’m looking for someone in the Redding area or close that has an ALFAOBD I have a 2024 Ram 2500 I need to know if it will fix my auto start issues. I can’t auto start with tailgate open, if I auto start and open a passenger door, close it and open the drivers door truck shuts off. Local dealer says they won’t charge it because those options were put in by the selling dealer as safety concerns. I think that’s BS

When you say auto start are you talking about remote start?
Yes.
Those aren’t remote start issues, it’s the way it was designed. It also won’t remote start with the hood open. They likely designed it to behave that way because people do stupid things to hurt themselves. I’m wondering why you’d need to remote start your truck with the tailgate, doors, or hood open but it’s your truck. Can you even change that with alphaobd?
