Ok got my truck back... Less the new transmission that is now unknown eta ugh!
Anyway my problem seems to have gone away. Maybe it was an update or something and it settled itself out...
Or it was the cursing and the threat of lighting it on fire that fixed it

I have the same issues as the op and issues with the USB output cycling off and on.
Then today couldn't connect to carplay.
Just tried a factory reset we'll see how that goes.
What are my options for a replacement if I have to do that? A quick google showed prices in the 3k range! Wtf!

My 2022 has been fine. Now my system is very sporadic. Slow to load. Slow Process. My bottom buttons won't load. Will flash loading screens and bounce up and down.
Even did a factory reset on the system. Same results. But I've had the latest update for awhile. So not really sure what to point the finger at. I wonder if components internally can fail and cause these types of issues?

I have the same exact truck as you - happy to see some fellow GT drivers out there.
My CarPlay won't even load as an option now.. meaning the CarPlay button that normally pops up next to your device name doesn't appear anymore. CarPlay doesn't load automatically. Have you ever seen that? I've done everything possible to reset the whole UC system including deleting/reconnecting the device off of UC, and deleting/reconnecting my truck off of my iPhone. I took my truck in last week to get some routine maintenance done. Asked them to check out the CarPlay issue and they said they'd charge me nearly $300 to run a diagnostic on the CarPlay issue.. I declined because the service guy said there's a software update that's supposed to be coming in October.

My truck has done this exact same thing three times this week (loading.... screen bouncing around, no icons available - only CarPlay is available, can't go to climate, apps, camera. etc.)
I never had an issue before that. It goes away by itself eventually. Sometimes a soft reset fixes it, sometimes it doesn't.
I have the latest version of UC5. Mine has the 8" screen so this is not a 12" only problem. I posted about this the other day but nobody replied. lol.
At least I know I'm not the only one with this issue. I was planning on making an appointment at the dealership but it sounds like it may be a software bug.
Has anyone brought it to the dealership and had this resolved?
