Ram Launches Build & Price Tool for 2026 Ram 1500

Bighorn and Laramie have less than 2% MSRP increase YOY, with Limited being $100 difference.
When you're building out a 2025 to compare, it's showing existing rebates as well, which are always greater on prior-year models comparing apples to apples though.
I have rarely purchased a new vehicle, so a great part of my sticker shock is not due to YOY price increases, more a matter of how much depreciation there is. Been 25 years since I last purchased a truly new truck.

I was hoping they wouldn't bring back the Back Country. I am obsessed.

I was very surprised to see that. Figured that ship has sailed. The volume just wasn’t there. Been over 3 years and I still haven’t seen another one on the road. I wanna keep mine in the rare category.😆

I see them here and there, but pretty darn rare. I've had a couple rebels, and I'd honestly take 23 BC over either of them.

I recently purchased a '25 1500 Big Horn.... it has the 1500 SST engine badge... but how/can I get the 2026 1500 Hurricane engine badge, that is the question!?!

Saying Hurricane is more fun than saying SST, ha.

I just went thru all three bed/cab Bighorn selections, all 4x4 option, all three offer different power train options.

Quad cab 6'4" offers v6 or inline 6
Crew cab 5'7" offers v6, i6, or hemi
Crew cab 6'4" offers i6 only
Thats weird!
And stupid!
These manufacturers “tools” the consumers can use to spec out what they’d like are almost always flawed in some way.

Coming from the Jeep world; their Build your Jeep tool is almost always missing a color, showing an old color, incorrectly showing top ABC as an option on color XYZ when in reality it hasn’t been available in XYZ since 2019, etc. and while that’s obviously a mild exaggeration… it’s not too far off the truth (the dealer employees would agree I’m sure).

I’d be curious if Ram is better about keeping their Build tool more accurate or not, but I’d venture to guess they’re just as bad…and to be fair, that’s a PITA to engineer and keep up with. I wouldn’t want to be a programmer for those tools, especially the Jeep one where they change colors every other quarter and change what powertrain options are or are not available based on what day of the week it is or if they got laid the night before 🤦‍♂️

Nonetheless, I just hope to get some off-road package on an affordable model without paying through the nose.

*edit: I think the Warlock would fit my bill tbh, but I’ve grown acquainted to the bigger screen in our Jeep and idk if I could go back to a smaller, square-ish screen now lmao I know, I know…first world problems.

I would possibly order one with the Hemi, if it did not have the E-torque!

I came down to a 25 Warlock or Big Horn on the lot at Mark Ram....... after all the discounts and rebates in June, the prices were close.... I really loved the offroad package and all about the Warlock.... but... the big screen on the Big Horn, the heated seats and steering wheel, the power seats up front.... and it was a bigger total savings... and this one had a sprayed in bed liner already, plus the full digital screen for the techometer and speedometer.... couldn't pass it up... but I'm still slightly sad, ha.

Yeah @superbford I just can’t NOT have the giant screen anymore. I’ve been too spoiled by our Jeep that anytime I’m in something new with a small screen, I just hate it. Same with the driving tech like adaptive cruise control. I hate not having that now lol

I like that new light-ish metallic green so I’m hoping in a few months they’ll be hitting lots so I can check out a Big Horn in person with that color to see if I dig it or not.
