*HEMI UPDATE* 2026 Ram 1500 Factory Orders @ MARK DODGE

That contradicts what was posted on another Ram forum, but I’m not sure where they pulled it from…

“1. Excludes Fully Electric vehicles. Applies to 2026 model year vehicles. Non-transferable. Visit Mopar.com for complete details and a copy of the Powertrain Limited Warranty. Take retail delivery by 09/02/2025.”

I read that also, about taking delivery by 9/2/2025. Here is a screen shot from the Ram Trucks site, which does not reference the "taking delivery by" part of it. Then I also attached the Warranty document from Mopar.com, which has no dates in it at all. I do think they need to come out with an official statement to clarify which is correct. Is this a matter of having to order early and take delivery by 9/2/25 or is ordering by 9/2/25 correct?

The program rules state must be delivered or sold ordered. That's what I posted, that's what is behind the scenes. Just like the build & price tool is never going to have every single thing listed perfectly, neither will a rebate program or warranty program like this when there are conditions. Notice how just about everything at some point says "see dealer for details" on all "programs and incentives" This is the details!

Thanks Anthony. I missed your earlier post with dealer memo, so it all makes sense now. Hopefully they will extend this beyond 9/2/25.

thank you so much for the clarification sir!
Not as clear as it could be. I don’t know what a sold order is as defined by the Gold Book, but I know that Anthony wouldn’t intentionally mislead anyone here. So if he’s saying we would only need to place an order before 9/2/25 I believe him. Although I'm a bit curious to know the guidelines from the Gold Book for what a sold order is. What would disqualify an order from being a sold order?

I don’t know why Ram has to play games like this though. Why can't they just offer the warranty as a replacement for the current power train warranty?

This is not an exhaustive list, but here's some examples things that CAN compromise a sold order (some always, some sometimes)
- Turning it into a fleet sale or other sale types that I don't know much about
- Selling to an account that SHOULD have been a fleet sale but wasn't
- Not selling to the same person and/or address as on the POC
- Selling to a known dealer, exporter, headless horseman or otherwise 'nerdowell (YES they actually comb for these issues)
- Not recording the sale within 14 days of receiving to dealership (our own policy is shorter)
- Making changes to the POC after order is placed (I once added aux switches to a powerwagon and it cost over $2K as a result!)
- NOT literally ordering it as a a sold order (I see this all the time on competing dealer's POCs)
- Being on probation from being allowed to place sold orders (naughty list for breaking other rules)

Thanks Anthony, I appreciate your willingness to share a little of what happens behind the curtain. (y)

UPDATE -

Production has started on 2026 model year Tungsten & RHO as of last week!
We've got over 50 that started production and 10 of those have even been released to SHIPPING!
REBATES opened up on 2026 including $1500 bonus cash on all 1500s aside from RHO

Looking at the new colors for 2026, is the molten red something that has been used on other vehicles - so that I can look at it? When I try to google it, I get images of random cars in random reds.

Also, how much longer would you expect it to take Ram to update their "build it" website to 2026 model?

It’s usually a month or two behind when the ordering starts for the next year model. Only trouble with those nice new colors, they are really only for Laramie and below. And if you want the Rambox option ( automatically on Tungstens ) that also restricts what colors you can opt for.
From what I saw, there are no new colors that I could order. I usually have the Limited ( which I believe is gone for’26, it’s now the Longhorn, then the Tungsten.

Wheres the I

Your Etorque has 180k ?! Thats good to know ,i plan on keeping mine for along time. Especially after adding GT exhaust and 33g fuel tank.
Not mine, but a friend of mine just traded his ‘21 eTorque Hemi in with 180,000+ miles. Funny, actually, one of the things that never had any problem with was the MGU. Accumulated a bunch of driveline problems in the last year.

OK thanks. Yeah, I was planning on a Limited or so level as well, so it sounds like the new colors won't apply.

No Limited for '26? That's not cool if true. It's sad how what used to be the premier trim level has dropped so far down. I guess you could say the same for the Laramie, as that was the top trim level a dozen years or so ago.

I've not seen anything to indicate that the Limited trim level is gone for 26, and would be utterly shocked if that were indeed the case.

That's not at all true.
Limited is just fine, alive and well.
We have 49 of them on order with vin numbers assigned already......

That's good to know. It didn't seem like accurate information to me but I haven't been shopping for a new truck either. Thanks for confirming.

I am so glad I found a no BS dealer. They are hard to find here in Florida.

I am going to buy a 2026 Ram with a V8. I keep and take care of my trucks. My current truck still had the suction cup marks on the tailgate when I picked it up. I got the 4.7 because that was the first year of the MDS. The only problem I have with it is the TIPMS. I love my truck so much I have considered if it ever broke down just having a new motor a transmission installed. If there was a way to bypass the TIPMS I would.

With that being said, I have a few questions. I am worried about the electronics on the 2026.

Is the etorque system covered under the 10 year power train warranty?

Do all 1500 still have the MDS, if so can it be disabled?

Most importantly about how long do orders normally take and about how much notice do you get? I will need to be sure and order so I will be available to fly in to get it.

I would love to get the same truck I have but in a 2026.

I went back and looked at the build info I found from Mark Dodge that Anthony posted awhile back. It showed Limited/Longhorn under one heading, the one before showed Laramie, the one after showed Tungsten. That’s why I said the Limited was gone. My mistake.
