2019 1500 limited with OEM LEDs.... out of the blue, half of my brake lights stopped working. Also, I had a Lasfit LED in the CHMSL and it stopped working. Put in a new "old school" 921 bulb and now the CHMSL is back, and I was hoping it was an electrical glitch but that seems not to be the case for the others. All other tail/turn/reverse functions are good.

How or why would half of my brake lights stop (no pun intended)?

*bump*

So has anybody seen this before? That out if the blue certain parks of both the lamps just stop? Seems too coincidental.

UPDATE for future people.

well I think i may have figured it out. I went old school, pulled the lights and tested the pins one by one with a 9v battery and well it looks like the dead panels are actually dead. I was able to activate all the functions (turn, tail, reverse and brake) and yes in fact only one of the two brake lights turned on. So that means it's not a computer, module, fuse etc. issue it's the actual lamp itself. And since they aren't serviceable I'll have to begin my journey on picking the best new tail lamps that are compatible with the OEM LED and blind spot systems.
