You could tap into the usb that’s in the top console… should only require removing some trim panels.

The wiring should be there. Just tap a usb port in and mount it however you choose.

How is the cover removed to get access to the wiring?

2 or 4 screws under the thin trim piece. Pop off the trim piece that goes around to get access to the screw.

This video isnt adding usb ports, but installing a new armrest pad with a built in wireless charger but I imagine it would help you.

Buy me a usb jack and I’ll gladly wire it up and show pictures of the process lol

My truck has the console seat combination and I got that cover loose enough that with a flashlight I could see that the seat back and seat part of that console has to come off first. In my case that ain't going to happen. I'll drag wires underneath the thing from the front or from wherever I have to before I'll take that seat out.
