Yesterday I installed the Syneticusa MR Retractable Tonneau Cover on my '25 Limited with Ramboxes. Had looked at lots of options and this one seems to be much more affordable than other options so I decided to try it out. I ordered it from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQ32RT4F?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 but you can also get it from their website: Ram 1500 RAMBOX Retractable Covers | 5.7ft Bed & T-Slot Rails | SYNETICUSA

I also learned I would have to replace the black bed rails that come with the truck with silver rails. I needed parts 68027048AD and 68027049AD for this. They are an easy swap.

I followed the instructions here: https://ebay.syneticusa.com/installation/mr_rambox.pdf and watched the video it links to: https://ebay.syneticusa.com/video/MR/TC-V2-installation-rambox.mp4

It wasn't clear when ordering but they send you two boxes, one very large box that has the tonneau cover assembly and a second box that has rails that attach to the silver rails. Those go on first.

Then added a foam gasket at the front of the bed before placing the canister on top of the bed. It was a little wrinkled and crushed but was fine.

Placed the canister and then laid out the rest of the items in the box. Generally the items are well packed for transport.

Added the cover rails. This is a little tricky but watch the video carefully and do what they do and it works fine. You will want to test fit things before tightening them and you definitely want to see where the tonneau rails fit over the tailgate cover. They need to overlap as much as possible. There is a stopper underneath the flat part of the rail, several inches back from the end, that needs to be 1/8" away from the bed on both sides.

After I got all parts laid out where I was happy with the fit, and the tonneau rolled smoothly, I tightened everything down. Here's what it looks like all installed.

Overall, I'm happy with. I will need to add some neoprene blocks to close off some gaps around the tailgate to avoid water getting in. That seems to be more of an issue with the truck having a 1" gap between the end of the bed trim and where the tailgate should meet it. They include two 1/2" thick neoprene blocks that I added but even then, there is still a 1/2" gap. They do include 4 hoses for drainage that feed into the holes in the bed.

Will see how this holds up.
