2021 rebel. fcw lights came on on my dash. i went into settings and tried turning on/off. lights still on dash. went to dealer for a recall a couple weeks ago and i asked about it, they looked into it and said repair can be upward to $2,000. anyone have an issue like this they were able to fix for... "cheap?"

no need for replies of "wHy Do YoU nEeD iT." short answer- i want everything that i paid for to work

Are you talking about the warning light? Do you have ACC? If so, does it still work?

I've had this issue for the past year. It started after the dealership did an alignment after they replaced the driver side front axle. The dealership suggested that I wait until after the recall was fixed. I took mine in for the recall and it just so happens the light went off the day before I took it in. It came back about a week later.

I plan on going back to the dealer now that it's back on and hope that they fix it for free. Otherwise, I just plan on finding a tool that will disable the feature altogether.

In response to it still working, no it does not work. The auto braking function is off as is the dash alerting. The system is in fault, so it's not functional. I'm fine with that as I don't need the truck telling me when to brake. I just want the lights off.

The sad thing is the dealer won't disable the feature for me. They said it's a safety feature. I responded that it's not a mandatory feature and was an option on my truck. They said that if it's there, it cannot be disabled.

Hm. That sucks. I don't need it telling me what to do either, but I still want to make sure everything works that I've paid for lol

I dont have acc

This is the light btw
There is no easy fix. You could purchase a new DASM and install it. You could also add ACC if you wanted. There is a thread in the mods section on this. I can explain how to replace the DASM too, if that is the issue.

Whats "DASM?" If its a reasonably priced fix, then I'll message you when I get it for instructions haha

The driver assistent module. It's the device that has the radar and camera in it. It is mounted to the windshield. I'm only assuming that is what it is because of the fix price.
