Going to test drive a Tungsten with the Off Road package, I did not even know it was that package until I saw the sticker. Thoughts on the differences between a regular Tungsten and one with the Off Road Package?

I know the Off Road has skid plates etc, was curious if there is any difference in ride, performance, etc?

Did not think to check that, not a big concern and I know it has a rear locker too.

Were the stickers difficult to remove? That would be my first event. What color is your truck?
No slightly warmed up with a hair dryer and peeled off. Cleaned off residual glue and waxed /polish area.
Tri-color Pearl White.
Before and after

I have the off road package on mine. Only reason I added it when I had them build it was due to the higher ride height. I wanted to add a slightly larger e rated tire so this was the easier route. I didn’t notice a difference in drive behavior between it and my limited I had before this. The limited had air suspension as well. the off road package when included on a 1500 with air suspension adds an inch instead of the 2 inch that the package states. It sits in the off road 1 setting at normal operation.

I know you didn’t ask about this but The one thing I wish I had not gotten was whatever package that added the tow mirrors. I wanted all of the towing stuff just in case but that was a horrible idea once I finally got to drive my truck when it was delivered. The mirrors are stupidly large and impossible to see past when making a left or right turn. Especially trying to see people in a crosswalk or even smaller cars. I’ve gotten used to it now and I always make sure that I’m extra careful but it’s a horrible design on them. I personally like the older style tow mirrors even if they looked horrible.

I have The Off-Road Package on my 2022 Limited.

If Ram would have let me I would have deleted the Electronic Locking Rear Axle and add the regular Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle.

If you are pulling a 25’ trailer out of muddy pastures then the ability to lock up the rear differential with a push of a button might be better fitted for you needs but for my Princess Pavement Crawler I would rather have the full time Posti-Trac for those rainy days pulling out of Starbucks.

Yes I can push the button to lock up the rear axel on those slippery rainy days but then I have to put down my latte.

I have no objections on the ride and I like the extra rubber with the 20” rims for all of the potholes.
