Dear all,
For current and future 2025 RAM 1500 owners who may find this post on the web.

If you have steering issues with your vehicle, pulls in one direction and feels dangerous to drive. You feel you must drive below the speed limit to be safe because steering is flimsy or any other similar symptoms please file a complaint with NHTSA.

This is not a Bluetooth that wont connect. This is a death machine and if its a major issue NHTSA needs to know and the manufacturer needs to act. Dont suffer alone.

Is it true that 5th gen Rams has electric steering that has no direct mechanical linkage between the steering wheel and say the tie rods?

Chat GPT guided me to a steering system reset, user version and not the full reset done at dealership (start vehicle, center, turn all the way right, turn all the way left). Call me crazy but it seems to drive much better. One thing for sure RAM logo is now straight when im aiming the vehicle straight.

I attached a phone to the steering and using Physics Toolbox app to log G forces in the X direction. Then ill have chatgpt proccess the data to look for correction pattern. I still need to take it on a long highway ride to verify (consistent 65 to 70 mph driving) and to drive on mountain roads. However upon first impression on a short neighborhood drive there seems to be change.

Hope this can help someone else. Ill keep you posted. I think still think anyone with an issue should report. Even if the resolution turns out to be simple, some people just would not know and would have an accident. Also would it be so hard for the onboard computer to spot correction patterns and recommend visiting a service center.

As chatGPT hit a ceiling on memory in processing the data. I had it make me a VBA script so ill run the tests offline. This was rhe data from a 7 minute drive. Seems even though there was improvement, there is still an issue

I am no expert. But I would say given the steering wheel dance i mentioned below made my steering wheel point straight. I dont see how that would happen if there was a mechanical link
