Hate my 2025 ram 1500

Bought a 2025 ram 1500 3.6 tradesman, have 6500 miles on it, has been in the shop 5 times now. I had a 2016 ram 1500 3.6 tradesman, great truck, 200k miles.
This new one has no balls, transmission is terrible, even after an update, had 4 check engine lights. Dealer is useless.
I use this truck for a landscaping business, all rams, 2017 2500 Cummins, my old 2016 1500, and this new POS.
I specially bought the same specs as my old one to stay out of trouble.
I thought I would never would say this,.but I should have bought an f150 2.7.
Today another check engine light, transmission vibrates like crazy when I take off and the throttle/ transmission lag is unbelievable.
So freaking frustrated. My 2016 was 20k this one is 42, why why why.

Document everything and review your state’s lemon laws. Being a commercial vehicle could be a problem with the lemon laws in some states.

You got a 3.6, none of those have 'balls' no matter what they are in, it's a 9 second to 60 motor..hell in a Jeep they get 6.5. You should have bought a used 2024 or 2023 used with a 5.7, especially if you're doing landscaping with it -towing beating and the crap out of the bed. Unless you wrote it off to a business, I guess lesson taught. Sell it back to the dealer and get a used truck.

Assuming that your 2016 v6 was used for the same purpose, you should be able to expect the same performance. It sounds like there may have been a problem brewing since new, unfortunately you got a bad one.

As mentioned previously, look into lemon law for your state. Get started now, and expect a long path to resolution, hopefully you get made as whole as you can.

My 2016 pulled just as good as my old f150 with the 4.6. I don't pull that much, maybe 3500lbs.
Runs at almost 4000 rpm doing 65, kinda feels like my wife's old Dodge journey 2.4 with the 4 speed.
I tried hooking the same trailer up to my old 2016 1500, no problems at all. The screwed up the programming of the transmission imo.

Anyone tried pedal Commander or something like that to make the lag or hesitation less.
Really have the feeling that the communication between throttle and transmission is not that great.
