Ok gents I'm sure this has been beaten like a dead horse. But as technology changes and advances new options arise.

I have a 2029 Ram 1500, local dealer is $180 per hr service rate. I can bite the bullet in some repairs but others no way.

Anyway looking for a repair manual either the factory one or a comparable one.
Doing a simple search mostly comes up with Haynes, Chilton and all data. There was one from Mitchell's if I recall as well.

I know Haynes and Chilton don't get into the more detailed/extensive repairs. I am sure this is due to keeping things down to simple DIY stuff.

Post up what you are using or found, cost/subscription fees etc.

I do not mind digital as long as I can print out individual job/repairs.

All data was $129 per a year. I wish they offered a discount of some sort if you have multiple manuals you need.
In my case, 2019 ram 1500 , 2016 jeep grand cherokee, 2014 mustang, 2003 silverado, 2000 mustang.
Figured maybe they did a buy 3 get a discount or something.

A friend said he has a Icon scan tool that has a year subscription to their manuals. From what I see looks like its $400 per year subscription. Granted it covers many manufacturers and models.

Any suggestions. Currently my Ram is just under 160,000 miles and things are starting to happen with normal wear/mileage/age. Currently having coolant/antifreeze smell.

Thank you for any input.

AlldataDIY. Been subscribing to it for several years. That 129.00 is less than one diagnostic fee at the dealer.

Post photos! I’d like to see what the 2029 Ram 1500 looks like! JK 😉

Great question. I too am trying to decide on a path to get access to the service manual for mine.

Definitely cheaper then the dealership diagnostic.
Are you happy with the quality and information contained in the manuals they have? Are they accurate on the steps/details?

Would just prefer if I pay for something, that it has as much accurate information as possible.
Never used all data, have seen a few folks refer to it.

I am happy with it, very accurate IMO, took some getting used to navigating thru it, lot of information. Try the one month subscription to see if you like it.
Just to add... had it for `97 Expedition, 2000 GC, 2014? something scion. Very useful for all of them.
