2019 Laramie Build

First step in the suspension is done. Once I can get the shocks down the road the upper control arms, if as advertised, should take the the front travel from the stock 9 inches to about 12.

It the heim joints at the body and the Icon Delta joint allow for a bit more up travel, but mostly more down travel. They are beefy and light. The area around the ball joint also has more clearance eliminating a limitation for tire width. Wheel well clearance at full up travel is still a factor at full up travel. I do have some notes about fitting 285/75r18 on the front with rubbing. No issue in the rear.

Planned suspension is Bilstein 8112 up front and the 8100 in the rear with better links in the rear. Probably all that next February! Shh don't tell my wife.
If you need to replace the upper ball joint where do you get them? Are they Icon made or just normal oem replacement.

I wanted to post the new exhaust sound but incant get the file small enough ever at 3 sexonds.Huge sound difference. Average mpg is 18.5, that is with the 35s and 3.92 gearing. Seat dyno feels a difference especially near peak. I should have it off to the tuner this month.

With the long tube headers and high flow cats the EGT isn't getting hot enough. My appointment witht the tuner is still coming up next month the work some software voodoo. Codes dont affect the truck drivability just annoying. Too bad a video with exhaust note is too big to add here sounds great.

Great start! I'd definitely love to swap 3.92 instead of my 3.21

This is where I got the parts.

Upload the files to YouTube, then copy a link to this thread..easy to do (as long as you have an account, or just start one?)

Edit...looks like CalvinC beat me to it!!

Interesting!!

I've been researching the Stainless Works 1 7/8" LTs (and ditching my Mopar/Borla exhaust for SW True Dual capable exhaust with it) and they are supposed to NOT require a tune..guess this isn't true?!

i have had many 1 in 2 out, they sounded better than most "true duel's" IMO
