I am sure most people would not complain about getting free WiFi service from their truck but there are other things going with other devices that leads me to believe it could be someone hacking into my truck to track it or do other things. The WiFi works just fine but I have never set up an account or purchased it. I bought the truck new in 2018 (2019 truck though) and have owned it the entire time. I have called At&t multiple times and even went into one of their stores, they have run my vin, the IMEI # and the ICCID number and can find nothing on their end. Yet, it is connecting to the At&t network. I have run speed tests that prove this and connected with both my phone and laptop. I took it into the dealership and they could not help either. At&t has forwarded me to multiple people including stellantis, siruis gaurdian, and ram connect. There has to be a way to trace this service back to whoever is paying for it but I am at my whits end on how to figure it out. Anyone have any ideas?

I’d say that if you’re the original owner take it as a bonus . I haven’t heard anything like that before , I’ve heard about the other way around though .

Any chance your truck was a dealer demo and they activated it and it was under a demo account that never was turned off?

No chance it was a dealer demo. Even if it was a dealer demo, when I give the ICCID # to at&t it should show that there is an active account. I dont want to take this as a bonus since there is a possibility someone is using this system to hack into other things or track me. When I got in this morning near my house and connected to it then ran my speed test it showed I was connected to century link which is my home internet provider. After I got a couple of miles away it switched to at&t. I would think someone at the Ram headquarters would be interested in this. Going to call back to the dealership and give them an update to see what they can do. If that doesnt work I may have to call a lawyer and see what they can do.
