you got a 2wd limited? i didn't think that was possible... i thought all Limited's came 4wd. clearly i was totally wrong. kicking myself i would have got this insted of my laramieYes, mine is tinted with 35%
I do, too, until I have to clean out the small bug screen that raises when the sunroof is open because it fills up with bugs.off topic. i didn't think i would like the moon roof i had them on cars in the past. turns out i freaking love it on the truck. i use it all the time even if I'm not using the glass i open the shade all the time. i don't roll down the windows i open the roof !
It's not actually a bud screen. It's to prevent the buffeting of the air. Next time o have sunroof open, and driving down the road, push down on the screen. I just learned that a few weeks ago.I do, too, until I have to clean out the small bug screen that raises when the sunroof is open because it fills up with bugs.
I have 20% film on mine which makes the total tint level about 5%Can the sun roof be tinted? If so have you done yours?

Maybe I should tint my sun roof but then I never use it.off topic. i didn't think i would like the moon roof i had them on cars in the past. turns out i freaking love it on the truck. i use it all the time even if I'm not using the glass i open the shade all the time. i don't roll down the windows i open the roof !
The only mentions of exploding sunroofs I have seen are from people who had their shades closed, because they were always happy they had it closed so the glass didn't drop own onto them. I rarely close my shade.I've seen mention of the panoramic holding heat and exploding. Some shops won't do them for this reason.
Yep my truck sits in the sun here in ca. If I had ordered the truck it would not have a sunroof we never use it.I honestly would have just preferred a completely glass roof like a Tesla over the sunroof. I leave the shade open nearly all the time, but I don't open the sunroof that often. FWIW I've had mine tinted for nearing 5 years now, it sits outside nearly 24/7, and it gets full sun in 100+ heat here in Memphis in the summer.

Yeah, I'm not taking the chance of having to pay for replacement. Same when I had my Grand Cherokee. That was in Az.Yep I was denied tint for that reason. Not sure if it's valid or not but I'm not about to tell one of the most reliable tinting shops their business lol. I'm sure there is some validity to it and even if they don't care to look at each specific variant, the defaults answer would be no because of liability.
Oh, we don't use our sunroof at all, it came with the trim package.
I had mine tinted with the UV rejecting ceramic tint, but put on the completely clear kind, so it rejects the heat but doesn’t look like it has any film on it.WOW, all over the place.
I would think keeping the heat out it wouldn't explode.
My main concern is the tremendous amount of heat that is present now. Placi
Ing my hand on the closed cover in the Florida sun it sure gets hot.
