Unless they changed something for 2025 models there isn’t a setting for that. They should deploy when you open the door or you can deploy them from the Uconnect screen. IDK, maybe ‘25’s have that feature but I’m not sure why anyone would want to do that. If it is a setting you should be able to find that in the owner’s manual, but I suspect you might need to visit your dealer service dept and have them take a look.

The 25s are different. My steps won't deploy when I walk by, but they will deploy if I put my hand on the door handle whether locked or unlocked.
