vendors for oem parts?

I wasn't sure where to post this. I did a little searching but didn't find much (I admit I'm not great at navigating forums).

I had a couple weird issues recently with ordering parts, wondering if there are some trusted go-to's among the forum members?

my recent live and learn:

1. Ordered front to hook package from allmoparparts and got two left hooks even though one box had the righthand part #. Waiting to see if they'll exchange b/c I am past exchange time (I only inspected the boxes upon arrival and was waiting for warmer weather to install...sort of my bad).
2. Ordered door handle parts for passive entry from another site, never got a confirm email then the charge on my card was reversed. Appears they just cancelled it with no communication to me.

good news is allmoparparts replied and service was great, they're sending out a new hook with a return label so I can send back the other.

Placed an order with moparpartsoverstock for the door handles, we'll see.

Most of the Mopar websites you order parts from are just ran by individual dealerships. Not actually Mopar themselves. Generally most will be safe. I always compare prices, plus shipping, for several diffetsites. Just because one site shows a lower sale price doesn't mean it will be cheapest option once you factor in shipping.

I suspected as much, they all have the same site templates and UI as well. Funny you mention shipping, man the estimates were always WAY off. Estimating $45 to ship to my zip, then I move to checkout and it's like $9.
