I looked around on here and hadn’t seen this yet. Has anyone received this letter from “FCA US LLC” regarding emissions testing on their 3.0? Easy way to make $500 and a free car wash? I think I’d have to ask for a comparable sized loaner if I’m out of a vehicle for more than a week. I have truck stuff to do. Or is this the most elaborate vehicle theft ring ever created??? Columbus, IN is about an hour and a half away from where I live, not a big deal.

I too have a 2020 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel but have not received any letter like this one. I'd be a bit suspicious. Also every letter I have received from FCA has included my VIN in the letterhead. Might be legit but $500 and a car wash won't do it for me. 
PS - I'm in California and I can assure you CARB would be front and center with this action plus I have to get SMOG tested every couple years anyway when I renew my vehicle registration. So the testing in your letter seems to be a moot point for me.

Very weird, isn’t it? I blurred out my address and full name from the letter, but it did not have my VIN, and the accompanying letter to send back had a 17 digit blank to write in my VIN, declare if I have had engine work done, towed a trailer, went off road etc. I’m sitting on it until I hear others can confirm, but honestly I’d like to watch the data being gathered just for fun instead of taking a loaner. But, if I wait long enough and they gave me a Ramcharger…

I'm guessing they only sent the letter to 2020 owners in the greater Columbus area?
