Pulsar XT won't work with paddle shift trim. Any other options for MDS and Start/Stop Bypass?

So I was just about to pull the trigger on the Pulsar XT to simply disable the MDS and Start/Stop but then read that it will not work with trucks that have the paddle shift option. I've got a 2022 Sport with the GT package, so I get the pretty looking but near pointless flappy paddles with that trim.

Any other options out there? I know of the auto stop eliminator, I've used one on the wife's Grand Cherokee. Is the MDS something that can be disabled with JScan maybe? I won't use a Tazer either, had a bad experience with my Ecodiesel Rubicon.

Thanks for your help,

Jeff

Nope on JScan or AlfaOBD.

Try this:

I was going to say Tazer but I guess that's out of the question

can disable mds with hptuners. pm me if interested

I have a 2024 Laramie G/T..I've gotten into the habit of automatically hitting the Tow/Hual button right after the Start button, which then negates both MDS & Start/Stop..plus shifts are sharper! It's FREE too👍

You have a GT with paddle shifters. Use the paddle shifters, if it's like the regular trucks, when in manual mode, when using paddle shifters, MDS won't engage

Thanks! It's the sharper shifts I was hoping to find, especially down shifting. I'll give it a try on my way home from work in the morning. Cheers!

I use t/h mode, am aware that both the console shifter and the paddles will both not engage MDS, but would like to know if anyone has tried the nolimitz DT to turn off MDS?
I currently have the autostartstop eliminator installed for the start/stop but would like to turn off MDS.

Just noticed you had asked about this back in August. Wonder if those bugs are worked out yet on this thing. I think I’ll hold off.
