Hello!

New to the forum! Also purchased my first 2500 diesel with the megacab. Quite the upgrade from my 1500 Laramie. I love it so far, but have a couple questions I can't seem to pin down.

#1) the truck came with the 5th wheel prep group and has the pucks already installed. There were no covers for the pucks when I purchased so the dealer reluctantly grabbed some for me off another truck as I was driving away. Of course he broke them and won't work on my truck. I was concerned about debris and rust. We'll, the truck is now 4 months old and I noticed some rust on the center puck as I was trying to install the covers the dealer gave me. I have had nothing in the bed besides a suitcase. Is this something I should have the dealer fix under warranty? It seems awfully early for corrosion.

#2) I'm having trouble setting up the touchscreen. I use android auto a lot but have found no easy way to access the radio presets while android auto is active. Is there a way to have the bottom of the screen be presets or anything besides climate control while android auto is going? The manual is not helpful at all.

Pics of the rust is attached thanks!1000005955.jpg1000005956.jpg

Take the truck in and ask them about the factory covers you didn't get, along with the surface rust. I doubt they'll do much about the rust other than cover it with touch-up paint. But it never hurts to ask.

The sales rep should have gone over the uconnect use when you bought the truck. Since you're asking about a 2500 I'm not sure which version of uconnect you have (UC4 or UC5). It it were me I'd contact the sales rep who sold you the truck and ask them about this.

As far as any other possible issues that may come up, this is a brand new truck and has a new vehicle warranty. Don't be shy in utilizing it.
