Ok. I’ve replaced uca, lca, tie rods, cv axles, a pillar mounts, b pillar mounts, all 4 absorbers, suspensionmaxx endlinks, energy swaybar bushing, I’ve even removed the sway bar totally and I’m still getting a slight clunk.
It got 90% better with the a pillar mounts but now i hear/feel it very faintly when coming to a slow especially right around 30mph. I can recreate it by getting some speed then apply pressure to the brakes to slow down. I can also recreate it by coming off the brake pedal from a stop, letting the truck get rolling and jamming on the accelerator. I also hear it when backing out of my driveway when the rear wheels drop off the curb, but before the front wheels do.
I hear an audible clunk and I feel it slightly in the floor.

Anyone have any ideas? I’m lost. Dealership told me it was lca and axle but it still happened when I replaced those.
2 independent suspension shops both looked at it. The first said everything was fine and they couldnt recreate it. The other unbolted everything from my lift and retorqued it properly.

I can try another dealer near, but I hate to pay the diag fee for them to come back and say they hear nothing or some ******** like the last.

Authorize them to repair it, when it isn't fixed get all your money back or let them fix it because you paid for the repair

Does it actually work like that though?
The dealership I originally went to wrote it out weird. “Couldn’t duplicate, cv axle rotational noise and failing lower control arm”

I feel like if I would have authorized that and even it didn’t fix it, they would have said tough ****.
I still have the parts and they physical appear fine.

could be half shaft, could be something loose on the RC kit, or could be... suspensionmaxx end link not torqued properly.
did you tight the end links according to their instruction? because i didn't and i got clunking, but went away once i fixed it properly lol

I got the lower that bolts to lca torqued but the swaybar end pft. Cant get my torque wrench in there.

15mm socket and box end and then tight it down to whatever amount of thread the instruction tells you while paying attention to the bushings.

I had a small clunk I could feel in the floor on the drivers side when slowing and turning out of a driveway shortly after buying my truck. End up being a body mount bolt being a few mm to long I believe and pressing into the body. Took asking a few dealers to fix it as they said they had to take the body off the frame. Convinced ram cares after escalation to pay for it. Not sure if this is what you have, but maybe. Here's the thread: Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

Do you rememeber which bolts were too long? When I ordered parts from the body mount tsb, they sent me smaller bolts but I thought that was a mistake on either my ordering or their processing.

I had an older RAM that had a regular occurring clunk sound..could not find it..Then I bought new tires and had an alignment..technician showed me it was a brake caliper making the noise

I noticed I can kind of wiggle my caliper and it does make some noise but doesnt seem like i would feel a thud in the floorboard from that.

Am i missing it? I went through this and couldnt find anything about a bolt being too long.

Ohh are you saying I have to “adjust” the assembly? I just installed them to my truck the way they came
yeah that long as* bolt that connects your lower arm and your sway bar.
i never adjusted that and was getting clunks until i tight up the thing.

let us know! how it went?
No luck. Still getting a clunk.
When I removed the swaybar totally, it seem to stop, but maybe I got too excited and jumped the gun.
Im going to remove the sway bar again and drive around for a couple days to really get a feel. If its still clunking, I guess i’m going to go one by one on the suspension parts.
