I’m looking to trade in my 21 big horn for a trx. Only thing is I’ve never been a fan of the trophy truck look. I don’t go off-roading. I just want a truck that can do 0 to 60 in 4 seconds. I know the axles are 3 inches wider on each side when compared to regular 1500s, so it’s not as if I could just swap out the fenders with normal ones. I want the trx to look exactly how my truck looks now. With 305/45/22 tires. Does anyone happen to know if it would be reasonably possible to put normal size axles and suspension on a trx without having to significantly modify the rest of the drive train? Ideally just the standard 4x4 with the airbag suspension off of a 5.7. I know most people tend to go the other way and try to turn there trucks into Trx’s. And I’m not interested in tuning or putting a supercharger in my truck, I would like to keep the engine and transmission stock from the factory to avoid needing repairs. I want everything stock from the factory on the engine and transmission so I can keep my warranty for 100k and not have to worry about breaking down since I use the truck as my daily driver.
