First off, I Love my RAM 1500 but over the last 5 years, I've had batteries just drain on me for no reason and have had to replace 5.
Dealers cannot figure it out and cannot identify how the battery is being drained. Twice I've had the dealer keep it and monitor over several days and it will not indicate any drainage.
This last time, put in a new battery and also installed a battery charger which I hook up every time I get it home so it's on a constant charge when not being used.
Today, I took a 2 hour round trip with no issues, got home connected the charger and 6 hours later got in it and it wouldn't start.
I also contacted Chrysler today and filed a complaint in hopes that would get me some additional attention.
My Dealer here is great but they can't figure this out either. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment at the dealer.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

The old fashioned way was to pull fuses one by one while watching the voltmeter, dunno' if that is still done with these new trucks.

"To isolate a parasitic drain, use a multimeter to measure the current draw from the battery while systematically removing fuses one at a time; when the current draw significantly drops after removing a specific fuse, that circuit is likely the source of the parasitic drain and needs further investigation to identify the faulty component.
Key steps to isolate a parasitic drain:
  • Connect the multimeter:
Set your multimeter to measure amps and connect it in series between the negative battery terminal and the disconnected negative battery cable.

  • Observe the initial reading:
Note the initial current draw on the multimeter, which should be minimal.

  • Remove fuses one by one:
Start pulling fuses from the fuse box, one at a time, while monitoring the current draw on the multimeter.

  • Identify the culprit:
When removing a specific fuse causes a significant drop in current draw, that circuit is likely the source of the parasitic drain.

  • Further investigation:
Once you've identified the circuit, inspect the components within that circuit to find the faulty part causing the excessive drain.
Important considerations:
  • Normal parasitic draw: A small amount of current draw is normal even when the car is off, so focus on significant drops in current when removing a fuse.

  • Accessing hard-to-reach circuits: Depending on the vehicle, you may need to access multiple fuse boxes or remove components to isolate the parasitic drain.
There's multiple YT vids on this topic.
