Hi everyone, I thought there was a bulletin out there about this but I can’t find it. When I need quick acceleration, there is a lag. I have taken my truck in for this but they said they could not find any issues nor a service bulletin. Any thoughts
Greatly appreciate it.

Is this lag 100% of the time? These Ecodiesels do have some turbo lag for sure and are far from quick. There has been issues of a delayed throttle response., where you go to accelerate and absolutely nothing happens but its wasn't consistent for most including me. When they performed the DEF recall which is just a software flash, that issue went away for me.

I would go back to the CDJR dealer and complain that the throttle lag makes it feel unsafe to drive, like when merging onto the freeway or thru an intersection. Ask them to update the PCM software to the latest available, that should resolve it and should also be free (if still under warranty).

Just loaded the GDE tune on my 22 and gets rid of this problem completely. Has passing power at all speeds now vs when I was stock at 50mph+ it was almost impossible to pass without a good bit of distance to spare.

Like tom318 stated above, In factory rune my truck also had considerable turbo lag. the DEF recall improved that majorly. Hope you can get the issue resolved!
