I came across this video on YouTube as I was troubleshooting a suspension noise and my truck seems to have this exact issue. I can even see the air gap between the mount and the cab with signs of rubbing.
My question is has anyone successfully used the TRX part number mounts on non TRX trucks? Guy claims it will work on video and I suspect it would but the parts numbers for non Tex trucks are different.

I had a similar noise... did the TRX mounts on my truck and it didnt fix it. Mine ended up being the front sway bar bushings. Did them and the noise hasn't been back. its a 2020 laramie crew cab 5'7 box w 65k miles.

The mounts are relatively cheap so I may just give them a shot. Not 100% sure on where/how to jack only the cab up just yet but I'm sure I can find the info.
I took a close look at the sway bar bushings and they look ok but I didn't remove them and inspect. The noise for me isn't consistent, it really takes the right kid of bumps on the road or a left/right movement while going over bumps. Seems to be worse when really cold.

Assuming you guys did both the top and bottom mounts on the A pillar.

You need to do the A pillar and B pillar, top and bottom mounts. Since the cost was so low and dealing with a dealer to find the fix will cost who knows how much of your time, it may be cost effective to do body mounts and sway bar end links and bushings at the same time.

Agree. I ordered the full A pillar (top/Bot), lowers for the B pillar and sway bar bushings. Maybe ill order the end links today. If it continues after that ill order B mounts and take a closer dive into the suspension as it could be getting tired at almost 130k miles now.

Ordered the mounts but they haven’t arrived yet. Since it was nice out today I removed the bolt on the lower portion of the driver side a pillar and re-installed. Noise is now gone. This seems to confirm it’s something with that mount. I’m sure it will return but now I’m more confident the new mounts will sort that out.
