When I first bought my truck I had clunking. I had a 4" zone lift kit installed and hoped that would tighten anything up but still had clunking. Then changed the front strut spacers to the 6" kit and still had clunking. Got side swiped and finally got the truck back and I replaced the front sway bar bushings and end links and clunking had lessened but didn't go away. Lately, I have noticed my rear end not settling quick enough after hitting bumps so brought it to my local 4 wheel parts thinking I needed shocks., They looked it over and noticed nearly every bolt on my suspension was lose and one of the track bar bolts had busted which was causing the instability I felt in the rear end. they tightened everything up and fixed the bolt in the track bar and now my truck rides solid. Not sure if the wreck, body shop or shop that installed the lift contributed to the loose bolts or broken track bar bolt but I glad my clunking is gone. If I had to guess the wreck helped loosen everything up and probably caused the track bar bolt to break and those items added new clunks. So if you have clunks change the sway bar bushings and endlinks and maybe it will help

The strangest part of the whole story is that 4WheelParts are the one's that figured it out.

Loose bolts in the rear could well have been improper torque at the factory. It's highly unlikely that a collision would loosen any suspension bolts. A collision might break bolts but not loosen them. I have a friend that had improperly torqued bolts from the factory on his 2020 Rebel, a few of them came loose over time (he travels a fair amount of miles on gravel & washboard roads). Because he's offroad quite a bit, it's part of his normal oil-change routine to check torque on all of the suspension bolts while the truck is up on the rack.
